Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society, Inc.’s (BEHS) policy is to insure the privacy of complainants, donors, members, and volunteers whenever possible.

 Procedure

BEHS will collect information from people via:

• Membership Applications
• Adoption Applications
• Fostering Applications
• Trailering Volunteer Applications
• InKind Donation Forms
• Donation Contract
• Other BEHS paperwork

Additionally, people may sign up to receive more information via the BEHS website or at BEHS Booths and other events, and BEHS will get information about people interested in BEHS through email, phone calls, and personal contacts.

BEHS will not sell, give away, or lease out information retrieved in any of the above activities unless such information is required by law.

Website

Our website logs IP Addresses to log number of visits to our site.  Unless a user enters an email address into a form on our website, our website does not log the user’s email addresses or other information.

Email Lists

BEHS uses email lists for communication.  This service is provided by Yahoogroups or Googlegroups, both of which maintains their own Privacy Policy.    Information published on the email lists is available to all members of BEHS and may be accessed by those members at any time.
