About Little Jake

Little Jake was surrendered when his owner was investigated for neglect. Little Jake competed in the 2018 Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge at the Bluebonnet Horse Expo. He met his adopter at the Expo, but they returned him in early 2019 because he was too much horse for them. He enrolled in the spring Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge and his Training Challenge partner fell in love with him and decided to adopt! We're expecting great things from this pair.

Evaluation and Training

Little Jake is friendly and curious but can be a bit shy and stand-offish as he gets to know his handlers. He entered the spring 2019 Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge with a non-pro rider and they’ve been working together. He’s going to still be green but he can do just about anything his adopter wishes to do with him!
