About Augustus
Augustus was placed with Bluebonnet after his owner realized she had sustained too much damage during Hurricane Harvey and could not rebuild in a timely manner.Augustus was recovering well, but he then crossed the Rainbow Bridge after complications from surgery. Our sympathy goes to his foster home.
Evaluation and Training
Augustus is a very quiet stallion, but that may change as he gains weight. He can be a little tough to catch and may need grain as a bribe, but once caught he leads well, loads in a trailer well, and is easy to handle.He will need to gain weight before we can further evaluate him.
