About Shalimar
Shalimar came to BEHS in February 2007 along with twenty-four other neglected horses. They came from a horrific neglect case. Shalimar's back legs were covered in scars, and a few weeks after she arrived she gave birth to Peanut Butter Parfait. Thanks to the scarring on her legs, Shalimar was not ridable. Luckily someone fell in love with her and adopted her as a companion to an older gelding who needed a friend. Congrats to Shalimar, Duar and Genevieve!
