About Boomerang
Boomerang was surrendered to animal control when his owners were investigated for neglect and then placed with Bluebonnet.
Evaluation and Training
Boomerang is a handsome guy who leads, loads, and stands tied well. He was pretty good for the farrier on his first visit and is good to catch. He was pushy on the ground when he arrived, but he improved with consistent handling. His foster home trained him to longe, and it appears he already knew how to wear a saddle and bridle before coming to Bluebonnet. His foster home has sat on his back, and she believes some may have lead kids around on his back. She worked with him on the ground, and she believes it will not take much to get him going under saddle. He is a very pretty and sweet horse, and he could be a nice open show horse, trail horse, or pleasure horse with training.
